Yoel Berger and Marina Almagor
80-year-old Yoel Berger was outside the safe room when terrorists approached his home in Netiv HaAsara. A terrorist saw him, shot him, and severely wounded him. Believing he was dead, they entered the house and moved to the safe room. When 76-year-old Marina Almagor's dog ran out, she followed, and a terrorist shot her in the head.

Yoel and Marina woke up to the alarms
Terrorists infiltrate Netiv HaAsara from the air using paragliders. one of them reaches the home of Yoel and Marina
The terrorist shoots into Yoel and Marina's house. Yoel, who was on his way to the safe room and passed through the living room, was severely injured by four bullets.
The terrorists notice Yoel lying bleeding and presumably think he is dead. They continue toward the safe room. Marina's dog runs outside, and she, unaware that there are terrorists in the house, runs after it. The terrorist waits for her at the entrance and shoots her in the head at close range.
While lying in a pool of blood, Yoel decides to take pictures of his injury and send it to his friends, fearing that no one would come to rescue him
Three members of the security squad arrive at Yoel's house and rescue him. They, Itamar Ravivo, Amnon Ziv, and Itai Levy, carefully lift Yoel and carry him outside. They drive him to Zikim junction, where they meet an ambulance that takes him to the hospital.
After being severely injured, Yoel undergoes intensive rehabilitation. Initially, he uses a wheelchair, then a walker, until, to everyone’s surprise, he is able to walk fully again within two months.
