He calls the head of the emergency team (Tsachi) and updates the security squad members to put on their equipment and prepare: “You never know how this story will develop.” At the same time, Roni's family enters the two safe rooms in their home

Roni hears a round of gunshots from afar, accompanied by cries of “Allahu Akbar.” The terrorists infiltrate from the dairy farm and split into several squads

Roni records a message in which he instructs members of the security squad to cock their weapons and adds that the kibbutz “is involved in a complex event.” “This is not a drill,” he stresses. He returns to his home and opens fire at the terrorists from the stairs of the house. They return fire, and when he realizes that his ammunition is running out, he enters the house and transfers his family to one safe room. Roni takes position in the kitchen window and prepares for the arrival of terrorists

From the window of his house, Roni shoots and kills one of the terrorists, and then his rifle malfunctions. He pulls out his pistol and kills another terrorist on the doorstep of the house. At that moment, a charge explodes. Roni goes into the safe room with his family - and locks the door

While the family is hiding in the safe room, a large group of terrorists enters the house and places a lot of equipment there. The terrorists place blankets on the floor, and weapon mounts with RPG launchers and machine guns are placed on them. From inside the house, the terrorists command the fighting in the kibbutz. For hours on end, they try to open the safe room door frequently - but without success

Roni spots four soldiers in the safe room window and asks for assistance. An IDF force inadvertently fires in the direction of the four soldiers, preventing them from assisting Roni. At the same time as the shooting, the terrorists leave Roni's house and move to another place

While Roni and his family are in the safe room, the terrorists come in and out back and forth. Saar Margolis, a member of the security squad who has joined the military force, attempts to rescue the Spadges. As soon as Saar opens the door, terrorists shoot at him from inside the house. Saar was killed on the spot along with Sgt. Adam Agmon, a squad commander in the 450th Battalion

Roni recognizes Ido Ofri, a reserve officer who lives in the kibbutz, from the window of the safe room, and calls him for assistance. Ido makes sure that the doors of the house and the safe room are not booby-trapped and enters the house. After entering, he provides Roni with a snapshot of the kibbutz's status

Roni detects movement of Israeli fighters outside the house. Roni and his wife return to the family safe room to avoid possible fratricide by Israeli forces

A force of Bahad 1 (IDF School for Officers) cadets arrives in the neighborhood. Roni and Ido join them to rescue the residents of the kibbutz
