He watches what is happening for several minutes and realizes that the neighbor's house became a terrorist's Headquarters. At this time, Amit is alone in the safe room with her young children, with a baby in one hand and a kitchen knife in the other. Tomer tries several times to move towards his wounded friend, but realizes that he will not be able to reach him alive and returns to his family.
Beyond the walls of the safe room, family members hear incessant gunfights, grenade explosions and shell whistles. The electricity in the kibbutz is cut off and a few hours later the cellular reception is also disconnected. While in the safe room, the parents improvise a locking mechanism for the door.
