For Rachel (65) and David (68) Edri, October 7 began with repeated trips to the neighborhood shelter in Ofakim. After one of the alarms, they returned to find five terrorists in their home. Held hostage for 17 hours, they and their son resourcefully collaborated with special forces, who killed the terrorists and rescued them safely.
