זיו פרנקל - דף הנצחה

זיו, הבחורה הכריזמטית, היפהפיה והחייכנית, בעלת הלב הגדול, נולדה בנהריה - בת בכורה לדניאל ולרוביק, אחות גדולה לעמרי (19) ולמאיה (12). נכדה בכורה לסבים ולסבתות משני הצדדים.
זיו התגוררה בנהריה עד גיל 18. התחנכה בשנות הגן בקיבוץ שמרת וכשהגיעה לגיל 6, עברה לבית הספר היסודי "גוונים" שבעין המפרץ, שבו פגשה את מי שהפכה לחברתה בנפש, לאורך כל שנות חייהן, לין דפני הי"ד.
זיו סיימה את לימודיה בבית חינוך "אופק" שבקיבוץ עברון עם תעודת הצטיינות. 
בשנה הראשונה של שירותה הצבאי במשטרת ישראל קיבלה אות הצטיינות ומופת ממפקד מחוז הצפון, בזכות שירותה המסור והמקצועי.
זיו היתה ילדה ערכית, חכמה וטובת לב. ילדה יפה עם שיער גולש, רזה וביישנית, שהתבגרה  והפכה לאשה צעירה, מלאת ביטחון עצמי, מלאת שמחת חיים, אך גם רגישה לסביבתה ולחבריה, שביתה היה תמיד פתוח לחבריה וחברותיה, שהיו מגיעים.ות אליה מקרוב ומרחוק. היא מילאה את חיי הסובבים אותה בשמחת חיים ובאור.
זיו אהבה את המצלמה והמצלמה אהבה את זיו. מעבר לצילום עשרות אלפי תמונות וסרטונים שבהם הנציחה את רגעי השמחה בחייה, זיו אהבה ליצור סרטוני טיקטוק מחוייכים, ולעיתים קרובות סחפה חברים ובני משפחה להשתתף בסרטונים. רבים מהסרטונים האלה נעשו יחד עם לין.
אחרי שירותה הצבאי, זיו טסה עם בן זוגה, ניב, לתאילנד, ומספר חודשים לאחר חזרתה מתאילנד, טסה עם לין לדרום אמריקה. במשך חמישה חודשים זיו ולין טיילו, בילו, רקדו וחוו עשרות חוויות חדשות, בשבע מדינות שונות, אבל בעיקר המשיכו להגדיל את מעגל החברים.ות שלהן.
לאחר חזרתה מהטיול, זיו החלה לחשוב על עתידה ועדכנה את הוריה שהיא מתכננת להתחיל ללמוד באקדמיה באוקטובר 2024.
זיו ולין יצאו למסיבת הנובה כדי לשמוח ולפגוש רבים מחבריהן מהטיול בדרום אמריקה. עם התחלת מתקפת הטילים, זיו הספיקה לסמס להוריה שהיא בפיגוע ושהיא אוהבת אותם.
זיו ולין הוגדרו כנעדרות במשך שבוע ימים. לאחר שבוע הגיעה הבשורה הנוראה שהבנות נרצחו במסיבה.
למרות שזיו התגוררה בקרית מוצקין, היא נקברה בקיבוץ עין המפרץ, ליד חברתה הטובה לין. הלוויות התקיימו בזו אחר זו. בטקס גילוי המצבה הופיעו שתי קשתות בענן בשמיים, כמסמלות את נוכחותן של זיו ולין.
זיו היתה אישה חזקה, ואסרטיבית, מלאת ביטחון עצמי, אך גם יפה ורגישה ובעלת אינטליגנציה רגשית ותקשורת בין אישית גבוהות. היא חיה חיים קצרים אך מלאים, זכתה להיות נאהבת ומחוזרת, טרפה את החיים.
לנצח תישאר בליבנו ובנשמתנו.
 הוריה כתבו לה על מצבתה את איחולם האחרון:
"קחי את גאוותנו על האדם שאת.
לכי עכשיו לזרוח כמו שמש
יש לך כנפיים
תעופי רחוק"
Ziv, a charismatic, beautiful and smiling girl, with a big heart, was born in Nahariya. Firstborn daughter of Daniel and Rubik. Big sister to Omari (19) and Maya (12). The first granddaughter of the grandparents on both sides.
Ziv, who lived in Nahariya until she was 18 years old, was educated in Kibbutz Shomrat as a toddler. At the age of 6 she moved to Gvanim elementary school in Ein Hamifratz, where she met the person who became her soul mate throughout the rest of their lives, Lin Dafni HI”D.
Ziv, who graduated from the Ofek educational institution in Kibbutz Evron with a certificate of excellence, received a certificate of excellence and exemplary from the commander of the Northern District, in her first year of military service in the Israel Police, thanks to her dedicated and professional service.
Ziv was an ethical, smart and kind-hearted girl. A beautiful girl with flowing hair, thin and shy, who grew up and became a young woman full of self-confidence, full of joy of life but also sensitive to her surroundings and her friends, whose home was always open to friends, who would come from near and far. Ziv filled the lives of those around her with joy and light.
Ziv loved the camera and the camera loved Ziv. In addition to taking tens of thousands of photos and videos in which she commemorated the happy moments in her life, Ziv liked to make smiling, funny TikTok videos, and often dragged friends and family members to participate. Lin participated in many, if not most, of those TikTok videos.
After her military service, Ziv flew with her boyfriend, Niv, to Thailand, and several months after her return from Thailand, she flew with Lin to South America. For five months, Ziv and Lin traveled through seven different countries, gained dozens of new experiences and mostly continued to increase their circle of friends.
When returning from the South America trip, Ziv started planning her future and informed her parents of her intention to register to the university in October 2024.
Ziv and Lin went to the Nova party to have fun and to meet many of their friends from the trip to South America. Right at the beginning of the missile attack, Ziv managed to text her parents that she was under attack and that she loved them.
Ziv and Lin were defined as missing for a week. After a week came the terrible news that the girls had been murdered at the party.
Although Ziv lived in Kiryat Motzkin, she was buried in Kibbutz Ein Hamifratz, next to her best friend Lin. Funerals were held one after the other. At the tombstone unveiling ceremony, two rainbows appeared in the sky, symbolizing the presence of Ziv and Lin.
Ziv was a strong, assertive woman, full of self-confidence, a beautiful and a sensitive person. She lived a short but full life, she was loved and cherished and devoured life.
Ziv will forever remain in our hearts and souls.
 
Her parents wrote their last wish on her tombstone:
"Take our pride in the person you are.
Go now shine like the sun
you have wings
fly far"
